Don Sager Named Head of Business Banking for American River Bank

SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American River Bank, a community bank serving the Greater Sacramento Area and Placer County, today announced that Don Sager has been named head of business banking.

Mr. Sager, who previously served as senior vice president of construction trades, will lead American River Bank's business development efforts as well as manage the senior lending staff and underwriting department. He will continue to serve the construction trades.

"Don is one of the most experienced business lenders in our community and he is ideally suited to lead American River Bank's seasoned and innovative business banking team," said Greg Patton, president of American River Bank.

Mr. Sager joined American River Bank in 1992. Prior to his position with American River Bank, he worked as the commercial lending team leader at Sunrise Bank of California. Mr. Sager has a B.S. from California State University, Sacramento and he is a graduate of the ABA National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma.

Mr. Sager has served the financial services industry and his community for nearly 30 years. In addition to his responsibilities at the Bank, he is on the board of Friendly Visitor Program, Adopt an Elder Foundation, Roseville Chamber of Commerce and American Subcontractors Association.
