Cardinal Venture Capital Promotes Christian Borcher to Partner

MENLO PARK, Calif., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardinal Venture Capital today announced that Christian Borcher has recently been promoted to partner. As partner, Borcher will continue to be responsible for identifying, leading and managing investments for the firm.

Prior to joining Cardinal in early 2000, Borcher was a lawyer in Denmark with Bech-Bruun Dragsted, Scandinavia's largest law firm, where he represented global high tech companies including IBM, Dell and Nokia, and specialized in deal structuring and security aspects of financings, as well as in restructurings and recapitalizations.

Borcher has taught contract and property law at Copenhagen University, Faculty of Law, served as Chairman of the Board of the Association of Young Lawyers, and is admitted to the High Court of Denmark. He is a member of the Danish Business Council of Silicon Valley under the Danish American Chamber of Commerce, and has founded two import and distribution companies, which he ran for seven years.

Borcher received his Summa Cum Laude Masters and Bachelor of Law Degrees from Copenhagen University, and his M.B.A. from Stanford Business School.
