ATLANTA, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB) further strengthened its management team with the addition of Robert J. Cormican who joins the Company as senior vice president, Compliance, Quality, and Training effective February 15, 2005.
In his new role, Cormican will oversee and further develop Crawford's training facility and will manage quality auditors and the corporate quality system. He will also be responsible for identifying and tracking regulatory changes and will develop, implement, and maintain policies relating to corporate compliance.

Cormican brings more than 25 years of industry experience to Crawford, most recently as senior vice president and chief financial officer for AssuranceAmerica. Prior experience also includes vice president of Prudential Property & Casualty Insurance Company, and chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Southern Heritage Insurance Company. Throughout his career, Cormican has held positions overseeing operations, finance, human resources, compliance, legal, sales, marketing, and underwriting. He was also an adjunct business professor at North Georgia College and State University.
Cormican earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting and a master's degree in business administration, finance from Georgia State University.
