The Journal of Trading is the first and only sophisticated analytical publication dedicated entirely to institutional trading in the financial markets. It is written by industry experts including both academics and practitioners. The Journal of Trading serves as a compliment to the other Institutional Investor Journals. There is clearly an interest by portfolio managers and their traders in enhancing their execution. There is also more emphasis being placed on pre- and post-trade analysis, especially by the hedge fund community. The Journal of Trading will be launched with the mission of educating portfolio managers and traders on their execution options with strategic advice from industry. It will cover execution styles and analysis primarily for US Equities, but will also cover fixed income, foreign exchange, global equities commodities and other asset classes.
